About a month ago, Matt and I were asked to be a part of a collaboration that combined the elements of thrifted style, tomboy style, and just “owning it” in general. We already knew 1 member of the team,Robyn, and what her style was like so we were in! 

You may recognize this lovely lady from a previous post, a couples shoot we did with her and her boyfriend Jarrid on a junkie’ trip….if you wanna catch up check it out here. 

So we knew Robyn was involved, and that she had killer (killer!) tomboy style…I mean how many girls do you know that rock some duck boots regularly?So Robyn was all set up to model and style (from her beautifully cultivated, almost entirely thrifted closet)

When I heard the concept for this I was so down…then we met Kristi, and that sweetened the deal even more! Kristi Echaves is the owner of a rad little salon and day spa here in Lakeland called Moxie, and the vintage shop located inside called Gypsy Bleus…and she was there to co-style this shoot along with Robyn…amazing.

We all met at Moxie, where Robyn and Kristi had been playing dress-up for hours coming up with the looks for the days shoot. I walk into a room full of big beautiful piles of vintage menswear, sequined dresses, the most fabulous and the most interesting accessories ever…I was VERY ready to start taking photos!

We started at Moxie and moved on to a house under construction….get ready, she’s friggin’ gorgeous!

These chicks have style for days,and I am so excited, and inspired, and proud to be a part of this project!
